Programme of study in Year 1

Year 1 students will be introduced to the fundamentals of Arabic grammar Sarf (Morphology) and Nahw (Syntax) and an intermediary level of understanding of Islamic jurisprudence. They will be taught the following disciplines:
Aqeedah (Islamic creed)
Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence)
Arabic Language (Speaking & Writing)
Sarf (Arabic Morphology)
Nahw (Syntax)
Qur’an Recitation
Tajweed/ Memorisation of Surahs
Duas (daily supplications)
Hadeeth (Sayings and Practices of the Prophet (PBUH))
Seerah (Biography of the Prophet (PBUH)
